The Mississippi Public Health Association actively serves its members, public health professionals, and the people of Mississippi by promoting and supporting the scientifically-based practice of public health in our state. Each and every day, public health professionals work to assure the health and safety of all Mississippians, and MPHA works to support those professionals through professional development, education and advocacy efforts.
For more than 70 years, MPHA has worked closely with the Mississippi State Department of Health to assure professional development opportunities for staff. Today, MPHA is reaching beyond MSDH to include public health professionals in associations, academia, other state and local agencies and departments, business and industry to help foster closer ties among all public health professionals.
There's never been a better time to support public health! Please look through our web site to learn more about MPHA; if you have further questions or need more information please contact me at execdir@mspha.org.
