As part of its Leadership role, MPHA supports the efforts and contributions of many viable partners to improve health in Mississippi. We value our long-term partnership with the Mississippi State Department of Health, which serves as the backbone of public health in our state. We also have a functional relationship with the Mississippi Public Health Institute and the Mississippi Rural Health Association.
We have also worked with the Center for Mississippi Health Policy, which provides independent and valuable data and evaluation on health policy issues. We enjoy a relationship with many non-profit health groups in the State as well as the many university programs related to health and public health.
