Special Projects – Kay Henry

Kay HenryKay Henry has worked with the Mississippi Public Health Association in many capacities. She has held several offices including the Nursing Section Chair, Affiliate Representative to APHA and MPHA President. Kay was recognized in 2015 by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) as one of 25 RWJF Public Health Nurse Leaders and in 2018 Kay received the MPHA Felix J. Underwood Award for her service to public health. After a long career with the Mississippi State Department of Health, Kay now works as a public health consultant for MPHA where she continues to support the Association with special projects and organizational activities. Kay has a passion for Mississippi, the people who live, work and play here and the work of public health to promote a culture of health in our State.
