Karin Thurman is a Bureau Director in the Office of Performance Improvement at the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH). Karin has worked in state government 10 years but with the MSDH 6 years. She focuses her talents on accreditation, grants coordination and management, strategic planning, performance management and quality improvement. Karin is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She is inspired daily by her husband and son.
